Frequently Asked Questions — 4D Lottery
Find answers to common questions about 4D lottery in Malaysia and Singapore, including draw times, prize claims, and more.
What time are 4D results announced?
Malaysia 4D draws (Magnum, Damacai, Sports Toto) are held on Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday. Results are typically announced between 6:30 PM and 7:30 PM MYT. Grand Dragon Lotto (GD Lotto) draws daily at 7:00 PM. Singapore Pools 4D draws are on Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday, with results announced around 6:30 PM SGT.
How do I claim a 4D prize?
In Malaysia, smaller prizes can generally be claimed at any authorized outlet, while larger prizes must be claimed at the company's head office or regional offices with a valid ID. The exact threshold varies by company. In Singapore, prizes up to a certain amount can be claimed at any Singapore Pools outlet, while larger prizes must be claimed at the main branch. All prizes must be claimed within 180 days from the draw date. Please check each operator's official website for the latest claim procedures.
What are the maximum 4D prizes for each company?
For a standard RM 1 4D bet, 1st Prize pays approximately RM 2,500 (Big) or RM 3,500 (Small) for most Malaysian companies (Magnum, Damacai, Sports Toto). Singapore 4D 1st Prize pays approximately SGD 2,000 (Big) or SGD 3,500 (Small). Jackpot game prizes vary and can accumulate to substantial amounts — check each operator's official website for the latest prize structures.
When are Special Draws held?
Special Draws (also called Extra Draws) are additional draws held on Tuesdays and are announced in advance by each lottery company. They are held several times a year during festive periods. Check each company's official website or the 4DCombo draw calendar for upcoming special draw dates.
What is the 4D number range?
4D numbers range from 0000 to 9999, giving a total of 10,000 possible combinations. Each draw selects 23 winning numbers: 1st Prize, 2nd Prize, 3rd Prize, 10 Special prizes, and 10 Consolation prizes. For 3D games, numbers range from 000 to 999. For 5D (Sports Toto), numbers range from 00000 to 99999, and for 6D, from 000000 to 999999.
What is the difference between Big and Small bets?
A Big bet wins if your number matches any of the 23 winning numbers (1st, 2nd, 3rd, Special, or Consolation). A Small bet only wins if your number matches the top 3 prizes (1st, 2nd, or 3rd). Small bets have lower odds of winning but pay higher prizes. The minimum bet is typically RM 1 in Malaysia and SGD 1 in Singapore.
Can I check 4D results online?
Yes! 4DCombo provides free, real-time 4D results from all major lottery companies in Malaysia and Singapore. Results are updated live during draws. You can also view historical results in our Past Results archive, going back to the year 2000.
How are 4D winning numbers drawn?
Each lottery company uses a mechanical draw machine with numbered balls (0-9) in separate drums. For 4D, four drums are used — one for each digit. The balls are mixed and drawn randomly to form the winning numbers. The process is conducted under strict supervision to ensure fairness and transparency.
